Hi,
I am here with the thought of no fear. I wish I didn't have fear, in fact I struggle letting go of my fears, like too many of us out there do. I find Fear itself is a horrible thing, it seems to be what will either make us or brake us. I wish I had some secret or knew someone that did, that could tell us all, how to let go of fears and just live life, but I have yet to meet anyone. Weird thing about fear is everyone has some form of it whether or not they are going to admit to it or not is another story for another time.
I have thought a lot about fear and what it can or cannot do for a person, and how if somehow someone gets enough fear instilled into you, you will do what they want even when you might not want to or struggle with whatever it is they want you to do.
I have found two really cool quotes that I think might motivate you to look beyond your fears and into a world that is waiting for you to discover it. I have read them a few times and they so far have motivated me in many ways. First one was to admit to everyone that I have fears. Ha ha
The first quote I really like:
Could you imagine if Steve Jobs let his fears win him, we would never have the iphone or the ipad, and it would be a sad world without either invention.
I think learning to live life the way you want to not worrying what others think, is telling your fears that they are not going to win over your decisions any more. I really like it is because when I read it, it reminded me to focus on what it is that I feel I really should be doing.
I like this second quote I found just as well:
When you live in your comfort zones, you never get out and see the world, you never get to experience life to the fullest and that is after all how I believe life should be lived striving and reaching for the next thing and never calling it quits. Getting out of the harbors and exploring the waters that lie in head of you. Never giving up even when it might seem impossible task you feel you need to be doing. Which just reminded me of another quote I once heard and I really think it is appropriate to share on this post and it is:
I think we all need to remember this last one. Because everything is possible, just might not always turn out the way we wanted but then remind ourselves that nothing experienced is nothing gained. So let go of your fear and live life (which is sometimes easier said then done).
As always thanks for reading!

Some good thoughts to ponder
Hi,
Here are some really good quotes that I came across and yes they all have helped me through my week this week.
The first quote:
I like this one because sometimes in life we all need a reminder that it is okay to say no because sometimes I get caught up in things and I don't remember that the word No exists. If I would remember those to little words some of the unneeded stress would be gone.
The next quote:
I really like this one, I seem to really like Albert Einstein. He has said some really good things. But this one I can just see that the road lies ahead of you and you're only way to go on your way is on a bicycle.
The next quote:
I like this one because all of us have had moments in our lives that we have looked stupid and sometimes like this says great things do you happen to you.
The last one to share with you all:
I love this quote because it reminds me there are so many things in life that are out of my control. That all I need to is breath and let life take its course and it will all work out in the end.
I hope these quotes I have discovered will impact your life as they have mine.
As always thanks for reading!

Believe in a Dream
Hi,
Boy drama is still occurring, and school is busy like ever. I was reminded in all of this to strive for my dream and never settle for anything less than it. Keep pushing myself towards the thing I want the most in life. As, I have found myself thinking about what is my dream? What is it that Laci Kay wants, to do? Where is it that I want to be in 5 or 10 years from now? This questions I have found extremely hard to answer, It is like I am lying to myself and scared of the answer that is hidden deep with in me. Wanting me to find the courage to release it and go full speed towards it. Today while surfing the web I came across a cool quote and I want to share it with you. (I really should get a pinterest account and fill it full of all the cool quotes I have been finding)
I like it because it is so true. There are many in this world, who have failed at their own dreams and they don't want you to have yours. Instead, they try to intimidate you into their dreams. It is hard being strong in this world. I find myself at times wondering how much more, can I take and then I always seem to regard asking because more and more things get piled onto my plate that I thought was all ready pretty full. But I learn to adjust and carry it, I try to be the good solider but it doesn't always seem to work out that way. I know I am stronger than I think I am and I guess I am on the journey right now of learning just how strong I am. I am also learning that Trusting myself is the best thing to do in this life. I could trust someone else's intuition for my life, but in the end if I am not doing whatever it is I feel I need to do than what they are telling me is worthless. I have one more quote I want to share with you it is one I found and it is now how I am trying to live my life...
There is only one part of this that I don't agree with, is life is short. Reason why, is I cannot remember who said it, or where I have heard it, it went something like this: "Life isn't short, it is long cause it is the only life I have to live and there are moments it seems long."
I would have to say I sometimes feel that life has it moments that I want to pass quickly but seem to linger forever and then there are those moments when I don't want them to end and they seem to speed on by, leaving a memory that I don't ever want to loose.
I hope all of you out there are having a good day.
As always, Thanks for reading!

Spreading a Smile
Hi All,
I don't know about you but my life has been stressful and way busy with school and boy drama. But I won't have it any other way. So as I have been going through life I like to try to find things that will make me smile. Lately, there has been several, funny moments in my life.
The latest one is today, I am sitting in the Marriott Library at the University of Utah studying, when some random guy walks by and comes in close to my ear and says Lucy, Lucy, I didn't respond because My name is Laci not Lucy, and I was also way focused on my Math homework and figuring out the Vectors and why we all should love them. LOL It then registered in my head that maybe the guy was wanting to talk to me, and I turned to where his voice was but he wasn't there any more he was walking away around a corner and I started to laugh and a few of the other students around me where doing the same.
Then, I am sitting here doing my homework and the same guy comes back up to me and says, Hi, why wont you even acknowledge that I am standing here, and we have spoken before it is not like this is my first time talking to you. I didn't even budge to look at him, cause I didn't know him. Then, he said, "I was being really rude to him" and he walked away. I looked at several students looking at me and I said,"I don't even know him. I have no idea who he is." I started to laugh and so did many of the others around me. Weird library guy. I find it funny because it is way random.
The other one that I hope to bring a smile to your face as it did mine. Is this quote I got from free your mind and think, and I want to share it with you.

A Choice
Hi all,
So I found a really cool quote that has inspired this blog post.
I really liked this quote, because there is truth behind it. I think you make a mistake and some part of you liked it and you should know better.
I know this is a really short post, but I have to get back to studying.
Thanks for reading

Some advice to live by..
Hi All,
I know it has been sometime since I have posted anything on my blog. For that I am sorry, things have just been a little crazy for me.
I would like to share some very important advice I have been given and have been trying to implement in my life. The advice I have been given is:
"Let no one tell you what you need to do in your life, you need to do what feels right and is best for you no matter, the consequences."
Only we can control our destiny, and at times it may seem to others, that our destiny isn't a good choice, But then when looking at it, from the person telling you it isn't a good choice. It usually isn't, for their life and you have to remember they have already lived their life, and your journey is just beginning. Your book is being written, and your pages are blank and waiting to be filled with words, side notes, pictures and memories. The only way to achieve it sometimes is by not listening to anyone and going off of what you feel inside and doing what feels right to you. It is getting out of your comfort zone of fear and finding a happier state. Which reminds me of one of my favorite Japanese proverb:
