Hi,
I don't think I have mentioned this before but I am going to the school at the University of Utah and I am tempting to survive their math program, (which I hear gets even tougher) Yikes!
Today, As I was up on campus walking to class and talking to a few class mates about math problems. A really cute group of boys walked by us (maybe I should say, I was the only girl in the group) just as we were talking about what number was our favorite and why. I had just said my favorite number was 8. One of the guys in the other group walking past us, smiled at me and said, "I don't know whither, this is a Nerd-alert or should it be Nerd-a-liscious." I smiled and said, "Maybe, a little of both." We all started to laugh and then continued, our way onto our class.
This guys comment to me, made me think, maybe I should be the one, that brings back pig-tails and glasses with tap in the middle and a pocket protector :) Because then it really would be nerd-alert! hahaha!
Don't worry, I won't be sporting around a pocket protector or broken glasses fixed with tape. But, I could possibly pull off the pigtails :) I might just see how long I can fight the urge to put my hair up in piggy-tails. (Promise to readers, if I am horrible at fighting off the urge for piggy-tails, I will post a picture of myself in the piggy-tails)

Mr. and Mrs Stinky
Hi all,
Today, just before my math class, I was sitting out in the hallway by the door on a bench. I was doing some homework for one of my other classes. When all of the sudden the most stinkiest man, I have ever smelled came and sat down on the same bench (about 5 people could have fit between us) and he smelled like B.O. and it was so bad my eyes started to water and I threw up in my mouth and I almost passed out. (He stunk) I was going to move but the class in the room I was waiting for let out and I stood up to go into the room.
As, I made my way into the room, to my horror he comes in. It then struck me, I had been smelling really bad B.O. in that class, I now know the source of it.
Poor Mr. Stinky, goes and sits in the front of class and I sat 4 rows behind him and I could still smell him. Just as I thought it couldn't get worse it did, because Mrs. Stinky came and sat next to the guy. This girl also smelled.
There clothes were drenched in old sweat spots with greasy hair. (I am a little OCD and the whole time, I was thinking I need to take a shower, and I was hoping the smell wouldn't stick to me) Luckily, I had good smelling lotion, I put on that kept my air semi-smelling good.
Well, after class, I get out in the open air and breath in the fresh air, and then head to library and to my horror this guy is headed there as well. My thought ohh no, please no. I then saw a sprinkle on and I wanted to say you see that sprinkler, I think you should run through it over and over and over and over until you no longer smell like that.
In the library mr and mrs stinky from class met up with 4 other individuals that all looked and smelled the same way. I moved floors in the library (the smell was bad).
Now, I don't usually, like talking bad about others, but this guy was horrible and smelly. The moral of today is, for people to talk to you without passing out or throwing up, Take a shower and practice basic hygiene skills.

Happy Monday to Ya!
I have had a wonderful Monday, I woke up on time and then got behind and have been behind the rest of the day. I hope all of you had a good Weekend and fun things happened to you.
I am almost wanting to dedicate this blog to online dating, I have signed up for an online service thing and well, I have meet some really interesting people. The struggle I am getting right now is getting a decent man to email me or I email one and I get the lamest emails back.
Here is the latest example of this:
Subject Line: Lets drink some wine than say we didn't.... Er...
I open the Email to read it and it says: Lets drink some wine then say we didn't... Er...
I read it and was like, that was a very creative email, (can you feel my sarcasm?) I then thought is that how people now days actually try to start a conversation. (The poor guy probably wonders why he is single) Maybe someone should point out his E-mail.
Then I got a follow-up e-mail from the same guy, about 3 minutes later that said:
In the subject line: Hey, I was just kidding
Then I opened the email and to my Surprise the email said: Hey, I was just kidding :).
I guess the smiley face at the end of the sentence really makes a difference. Hahaha
Maybe I will share more of these with the web, just to point out what not to write to a girl if you want her not to respond. hahaha
As always thanks for reading!

The day is almost over :)
Hi all,
I have had a little crazy day, for some reason I thought it was Wednesday until, a good friend of mine pointed out that it wasn't Wednesday it was Friday. Which made me excited for the weekend.
Tonight, I went to a 1940's party and I would have to say our style today is a lot like that era of time. I then came home and watched Football. I have to admit I am so excited that it is football season! I love football, it doesn't matter whither it is College or NFL I will watch it. Sometimes if it is a big game I will not go any where and stay home to watch it.
I have a few of my favorite teams, for the NFL. I like the Eagles, NY Jets, and the Packers. (Don't worry if they are not playing, I will still watch any game)
I am excited for next Saturday, when college games start.

Friends are Amazing
Hi,
Isn't it amazing how friends, can change a crappy day to a positive one. In my life, I have been blessed with friends that have been there for me and have helped me along the way. I have been blessed to have friends who have walked with me and have listened to me as I have gone through some tough times. As they have helped me through mine I have helped them through theres.
I sometimes take my friends for granite and don't tell them that I love them enough. I have been thinking a lot lately about how amazing my friends truly are.
I think sometimes in life I get caught up focusing on the little details that in the long run will not matter, and might seem a little selfish, (I have OCD and so being sidetracked is normal) but in reality we all suffer some form of selfishness.
I guess I just wanted to dedicate this post to all my friends out there, and they know who they are, who have been there for me and have been a support group for me. Love you guys.
As always thanks for reading.

The mighty tomato plant
I am sitting out on my porch working on homework and well I keep finding myself staring at my roommates tomato plant which looks more of a bush the plant is huge and has so many tomatoes growing on it. Amazing how much it grew over the summer, it was so small and now it is defiantly a happy bush. I kind of think it is my fault (I will now sound extremely weird) But I was told to get happy plants you have to talk to them and tell them how beautiful they are. I got this advice from a lady who has the most amazing flowers in the world. So I gave it a try with the tomato plant. See here it is:
There is also a pepper plant that grew tall, it was almost like the tomato plant and pepper plant where in a competition with which one could get taller faster and they are about the same size. The pepper plant finally is growing peppers which is good. Okay I think I am really good at procrastinating :) Or maybe my homework is just more boring to tell you about then the plants. Either way I hope you enjoy the picture.

Day Two
Have you ever had a morning where nothing goes your way? Sadly, that was my morning :) I got up on time for school and I even left for class a whole hour early. As I started making my way to the University of Utah Campus along 1300 East, there became so much traffic and so I took an alternative route up through sugar house and somehow ended up on foothill, and then I missed my turn to where I needed to be. So I went around the entire campus and then had to go up the steep hill and my car instead of going forwards like a good little car it would jump back which is odd for an automatic (at least that is what I was told) So I finally make it through the hellish traffic and get to the parking lot. (I know this seems play by play and well it is :) ) so then I get to class to find out that I didn't bring the right text book with me and then I go to the library after class to study and my computer wouldn't access the internet. (Took two computer techs at the Library counter) to finally get it all set up for me Yay!
Then after a few hours of studying I headed home and you guessed it, I missed the turn and I ended up in the U of U Hospital. When I finally got home I know I was cranky (I get that way when I haven't eaten for a while) I tried to talk to a friend on the phone and it went all wrong and know that I have had some time to sit and think about my morning, I found a positive, I wasn't too impatient in fact I was almost okay with it all.
A thought hit me, just how many times in life have I gotten mad at my stupidity in learning the hard way? Instead of getting mad about it I found I even could smile.

The first Post :)
Hi,
My name is Laci and I have had blogs in the past but I am was not the best at updating it but, lately I have had many changes happen in my life and I am wanting to achieve my goal at writing a blog post a day. I hope you enjoy!
Here is my first blog post for this blog, and I think it is fitting I share on of my favorite quotes from Albert Einstein "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
I am excited and I am sure you are to for this blog :)
