A three day weekend...

Hi ya,
Today, is Friday and it is the beginning of a three day weekend. Here it is a Friday night and I am sitting at home writing on my blog.  I guess that is a plus to being single is having every Friday night open to do as I please. There are those moments though where I wish I had a boy but then I have to smile as I look at my stack of books calling my name to do homework. (I guess my boyfriend's name is Homework..hahaha)
I hope all of you had or are having a fun Friday night, with friends and family or work.
So I just took a break and check my online dating profile for E-mails and I have a few to share. Keep in mind these are what not to say to a girl, or anyone if you want them to respond.

Email subject line: Your not shy are you?
The message was: Your not shy are you?

Wow, is all I had to say.

The next one I got is just as good:
Subject line: You are so cute!
The message: Yes, I have been known to be forward like this. hehe It does make for some heart melting romantic surprises.. ;) You seem like a girl that I would really enjoy spending time with. :)


Okay, not at problem good email right. My problem is, he is 48 years old and I am in my mid-twenties. First, thought that hits me when I see a guy trying to connect with me that age is dude, you could date my mom... hahaha 
I just don't get it, why do the older men (38 yrs old and older) think it is okay to date someone thirteen, fourteen years younger. Maybe it is just me but I have an age limit of 8 years older and 3 years younger than me to date.  In talking to several of my friends I find they too, so at least I know, I am not the only one out there, thinking what is wrong with the world? hahaha
