The Magic Of A Spiral

Hi all,

"Come" my friends said to me, "Come and experience the magic of the spiral jetty." I smiled and said, Experience the magic of a jetty, you've got to be kidding." They responded, "Come and be amazed, I promise you, it will be a very magical day trip." 

I was kind of skeptical of the whole thing, but with much curiosity I went expecting to find magic. On our way to the spiral jetty we stopped at a rest stop, it was a very odd one! I don't know why I found this one so funny, but I did. The signs were: "No vending or Soliciting" and the one below it was a caution about wintery conditions, my first thought was be careful in the bathrooms. The next thought was they need to follow the advice from the first sign, they have vending machines and free pamphlets to take. haha Here are the pictures from the rest stop:

I did find the magic of irony at this rest stop! 

As we loaded back in the cars and were on our way to find the magic of the Spiral Jetty! The car conversations were fun and the ride there was not as long as I had thought. The scenery to get there was pretty and I love wide open spaces. As we arrived at the Spiral Jetty, I am not lying to you I could really feel the Magic of the place!

The clouds were perfect and it was an amazing place! I really don't think the pictures will do it justice! 

This is the Spiral Jetty, That is in the Great Salt Lake!

I did find the magic at the spiral jetty! It was a fun adventure. But then with my friends it is always fun!  Then we also got to see some rocket parts!  They were pretty awesome!
