5 Years in the Making...

Hi all,
Do you love completing something you started? I sure do! Tonight, I finished a christmas stocking which I started a little over 5 years ago! In that time, I have moved twice and life has happened. New experiences gained. Friends have come and gone. Boyfriends and love interests show interest and then they to leave and this whole time, I hung onto the snowman christmas stocking! I would always say, "I am going to finish it one day" and today was the day!  I sit here with so much pride that I finished it!
Here is the picture of it:

There it is, My new pride and Joy!! The snowman angel stocking! It feels so good having it done! I have one more to start working on and it will be just as much work as this one was! Here is to 5 more years to finish the next christmas stocking! I love the feeling of finishing craft projects!
Here are some craft projects that I did myself or my roommates, Sophia and Fernanda and I did!

The two pictures above is our Thanksgiving decoration! This one was Sophia's project! I have to say Thank you Pinterest for all the ideas out there! And thank-you Sophia for being motivated to do crafts and decorating our apartment and making it look really cute!
The next one is my new winter blanket! I have this weird obsession with blankets! I don't know how it started but I every spring and fall time I will make a new blanket, I have quite a few! Here is the latest one:
It is two very different patterns, I love, having two different fabrics, because it makes the blanket more versatile and it is like you get double the blanket for one!

The above picture is of my wall art which I made all by myself, my self confidence in Crafting is picking back up! Yay! I have a few more projects that need to get done and I am going to finish them all up.
Then, the funny for this week, (there has been so many funny moments) the funniest thing was my roommate (to remain nameless) was standing in the kitchen, trying to open a bag of Taquito's and she looks at me and says, "I need a man's help."  I looked at her and said, "ohh nooo, I am pretty sure you can do whatever it is, times in this world are changing and women can do the same things." She looked at me and I went over to investigate the stubborn bag! It took a few tries but it finally opened up for us!

I guess the ultimate funny, is when one of my roommates (she too will remain nameless) was talking with a mutual friend and I. We were talking about someone and how they where related to a mutual guy friend of ours! My roommate looks at me and our friend and says point blank, "Her name is different because she married a man." I looked at my roommate and I started to giggle and when she realized what she had said, she started to laugh as well. (If you are not laughing, I guess it it cause it really was, one of those you needed to be there moments)
Anyways, I really need to get back to studying! I have an upcoming physics test and I don't understand what is going on anymore!
As Always, Thanks for Reading!
